Educational Loan Repayment for Healthcare Professionals
Established
by the Vermont General Assembly, this program is administered
by AHEC. Its goal is to help insure a stable supply of primary
care providers to meet the health care needs of Vermonters.

Eligible professions, practicing in Vermont, include
the following:
- Physicians
in Primary Care (Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics,
OB/GYN, and Psychiatry)
- Nurse
Practitioners in Primary Care and Certified Nurse Midwives

Physician Assistants in Primary Care

Nurses (LPH & RN)
- Nurse
Educators/Faculty
Awards
can be up to $20,000 per year ($10,000 maximum for nurses).
